Default The Great Northern Wall BONUS Quest

My fellow guild members and I completed the primary quest the other night, and after completing Fort Ranik and successfully completing the Bonus Quest, we realized we had missed the Bonus Quest at the Wall. Can anyone tell me where to find the bonus quest, and how to trigger it so that it will appear in our Quest menu? I'd like to make the endeavor as quick as possible, as we are eager to move into the mountains.

But if you dont want to, search around the map till you find a ghost guarding a tomb. he needs you to collect his armour, which are in 4 wreckages dotted around the map

Last night I went off on my own and found the guy and did the quest. Oh, the other thread doesn't tell what the quest actually is, nor where to find the dude, so I had to make a new thread.

I believe he is in the northeast corner of the zone. The armor comes from 'wreckage' that you see strewn about the map. One time I tried, only 3 of the 4 pieces were found. So I tried it again, and got all 4.

If you do this mission w/ henchies will they sometimes get the peice of the armor, therefore screwing you out of the bonus?

Henchies are never rewarded items, only gold.

wrong

henchies get their fair share of the loot it is just done behind the scene so you dont scream when you see that purple or gold super rare axe of xx going o a henchie when you only got a carving

if you doubt this go back to an earlier mission and do it both with a full henchman load and then do it solo and you will find the drops go up like crazy

This is true, but I don't believe that henchmen are ever given quest items in drops or wreckages. Any quest items can only be assigned to players.

Exept for the fact that if you do the mission/quest with a pug you still get the same drop rate. Henchies are just taking the drops you werent assigned, like other players in a pug.

Yes, 99% of the time, hechmen will *not* get quest items. However, I've done the Great Northern Wall twice now and both times, I only got 3/4 of the pieces. I did a tripple check for all the wreckages in the area (yes, I know where they all are). I ended up having to come back later when I can just rush through it solo without fighting to assure that the drops can only be assigned to me.

Same here. Plus I just did the Blood and Smoke quest in the jungle (It's the mission with the Dark Oak), and the boss I had to kill didn't drop the heart I was supposed to bring back, I had to re-zone and kill him again.

Default Northern Wall Bonus solved

There has been a lot of discussion of this (some of it by a very frusterated me) and there is finally a semi-official word. You do not necessarily get all 4 armor pieces in one try at Northern wall.

Per the Official Prima guide, (which I read only the sample posted on their site) you may have to run the bonus twice or more to get all four pieces. The trick, then, is not to give the ghost the three you find if you only find three. Save them and run it again until you have at least one of each, and than talk to him.

I have confirmed that this works. It is also posible to get all four in one shot. Strange, but true.

true

i wound up with 3 of one thing 2 of another and 1 each of the rest

tip for those who have yet to do it

bring several of something useless or use item drops collected along the way (fetid carapices for example) and drop one next to each wreckage as you open it

this way you can hold down the ALT key and do a quick scan of all the wreckages in the area and know which you have done already

it is irritating to click on a wreckage and have your toon go halfway across the way only to find out it has already been opened

having a (xxx) next to the wreckage lable stops that
